Achieving yet another milestone, the Aga Khan University Hospital won 10th Annual Environment Excellence Award 2013.
The Award Distribution Ceremony was held on Friday, July 5, 2013 at Marriot Hotel, Karachi.
Dr. Mirza Ikhtiar Baig, Former Advisor of Prime Minister for Textile and Mr. Sohail Wajahat Siddiqui, Former Federal Minister for Petroleum were the Chief Guests. The Environment Excellence Award is arranged every year by National Forum for Environment & Health NFEH in collaboration with United Nations Environment Programme UNEP and Ministry of Environment, Government of Pakistan. This time 150 organizations submitted their nominations and 75 Including top ten awards and AKUH was one of the top ten awards receiver were awarded by an independent panel of jury headed by Nadeem Arif. Each year, the competition is announced on the national platform and AKUH is winning the award every year since 2006.
