Heart Camp was held by the Cardiac Support Group of the Aga Khan Hospital Mombasa on Saturday 6th July 2013. The Heart Camp is held yearly for the lesser fortunate people of Mombasa. 161 patients were screened 2 weeks prior to the camp date. Patients came on the Heart Camp day to receive results and be seen by the respective doctors.
Dr. Vinesh Vaghela, the lead Cardiologist, brings a team of doctors. Together with him were two cardiologists of the Aga Khan Hospital namely, Dr. Swaleh Al-Amary Misfar and Dr. Suleiman Chaudry from Leicester U.K.
The Heart Camp went smoothly with the assistance of the committee members, hospital staff, nurses and Red Cross volunteers.
