Awadh is a garden, so rich with inner peace that everyone is contented, be rich or poor.’ These were the words of Amir Khusrau when he described Awadh in his poem, Firaqnama.
Such lesser known work of Khusrau is part of an exhibition, ‘World of Khusrau- Innovations and Contributions’ which was inaugurated on Monday. The 20-day-exhibition is being organised by UP State Archives in association with the Aga Khan Trust for Culture on the occasion of International Archives Day.
