Omar Samji, an associate in global law firm Jones Day’s Houston office, was named by Law360 as one of the nation’s five “Rising Stars” practicing energy law.
The publication noted that Mr. Samji, 35, “has only been at Jones Day for a year, yet he’s already helped broker multidimensional, multibillion dollar oil and gas deals.” Mr. Samji worked on transactions worth more than $8 billion combined in 2012. earning him a spot on the Law360’s list of Rising Star attorneys under 40.
