Dr. Saida Rasul is a dentist by profession and has owned and operated a private dental practice in Vancouver for 26 years. As a new immigrant, when she came to Vancouver, Canada in 1981, she was expecting her first child. Dr. Rasul started working as an associate dentist just two weeks after giving birth to her first daughter. Over the years, she had two more children, and successfully juggled working full time, raising her children, looking after her in-laws and parents, and volunteering in the community at large.
