He was witty, rational and an informed scholar. A man of character, loved by all, Syed Khalil Ahmad, renowned religious scholar, who spent all his life on teaching ethics and morality, passed away due to sudden heart stroke at Sumall in Gupis tehsil of Ghizar.
Syed Khalil rendered his scholarly services under The Aga Khan Shia Imami Ismaili Tariqa and Religious Education Board. He was considered one of the compelling religious statesmen. Almost every house in Gupis/Yasin knew Syed Khalil as an ambassador of peace and spirituality.
