A gala to raise funds in support of a Peel women’s shelter will feature a keynote address by a Mississauga woman previously honoured for her work improving the status of women around the world.
The Rays of Hope gala in support of Interim Place takes place Feb. 2 at the Radisson Plaza Hotel on Derry Rd. E.
Almas Jiwani, president of the UN Women National Committee Canada, will deliver the keynote speech.
