Los Angeles Partnership Walk Raises $400,000SANTA MONICA—On October 28, the Los Angeles leg of the annual Partnership Walk raised $400,000 to end poverty in Asia and Africa. Held at the Santa Monica Pier, the walk drew 2,100 participants.

Organized by PartnershipsInAction and sponsored by the Aga Khan Foundation, the walk is conducted in Atlanta, Birmingham, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Memphis, Orlando, San Antonio and San Francisco yearly to “raise awareness about global poverty and bridge Americans’ spirit of generosity by reaching out to uplift people living in extreme poverty,” according to the PartnershipsInAction website.
