Shenila Hakim Shallwani is the winner of British Council Higher Achievers Award for her incredible performance in ACCA. She is the youngest ACCA in the world qualifying at the age of 20 and fastest done ACCA in Asia-Pacific for completing the 3 year degree programme in 18 months. She also secured highest marks in ACCA final paper Strategic Business Planning & Development.
Shenila is from Karachi Pakistan and had completed her Bsc. (Hon) in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, APFA (Associate of Public Finance Accountant) and Masters in Economics.
She was awarded Employment Pass Eligibility Certificate by Ministry of Manpower Singapore for her extra ordinary performance in ACCA.
Shenila writes on current Economic, business and Finance issues for ACCA. Her articles are published in ACCA Accounting & Business & Student Accountant Magazine.
As part of her hobbies, she writes poems. Her Poem “Love” was selected by poetry.com amongst the 33 poets of the world whose artistry was recorded in “Sound of Poetry”. She received a Gold Medal from Aga Khan Education Service Pakistan for this achievement.
Shenila currently works at Pakistan National Shipping Corporation as Assistant Manager Finance and also acts as mentor to Bsc. (Hons) Applied Accounting Students of Oxford Brookes University from Singapore, Malaysia, U.A.E & Pakistan. She worked at Bp for four and a half years as Revenue & Treasury Accountant.
