The Aga Khan Portugal Foundation has appointed Karim Merali as director effective 1 August.
Merali, who used to be the head of the Mozambique foundation, takes over from Richard Lander.
In Portugal since 1983, the Aga Khan Foundation works in social care fighting exclusion and poverty in partnership with public and private entities.
