“Tabreek has had a great year and having a great success in the 10 year old program (grade 5). She has made excellent progress in all subject areas but especially in Mathematics”, commented her class teacher, Ms. Linda Souders.
It was Tabreek’s second year at the QSI International School of Bishkek, outside her home town in Karachi. She continued to perform exceptionally well throughout the academic year and fully capitalized on wonderful learning opportunity for enhance her learning and skill sets in a diverse international setting.
QSI International School of Bishkek organized annual award ceremony 2011-12 on 15 June 2011. Tabreek Somani received the following twelve awards during the academic year 2011-12:
· Presidential Physical Fitness Award signed by the President of the United States;
· Successful completion of the 10 year old program (she received 73 As out of total 75 modules)
· Improvement in the use of the French language;
· Best Presentations in Cultural Studies;
· Highest points in World Maths Day 2012 throughout QSIB across all age groups;
· Second highest points in World Science Day 2012 throughout QSIB across all age groups and highest points in her age group;
· Second highest points in World Spelling Day 2912 throughout QSIB across all age groups and highest points in her age group;
· Third position in Spelling Bee 2012 (9-11 years age group) organized by QSIB;
· Excellence in Science Award at the QSIB Annual Science Fair;
· Participation Award for Writing Challenge organized by QSIB;
· Perfect Attendance Award (only 4 students in the entire school got this award); and
· Greatest Dancer Award.
