Tabish Jagshi, 10, of Naperville was best friends with Fareeza Habib for as long as she could remember. In January, she lost her to a car crash while the Habib family was in India.
Her grief inspired her to write a story about her friend, which won third place in the fifth-grade category in the Young Authors Program at May Watts Elementary School. Her entry, “My Soulmate” was the moving story of her best friend’s death in that car crash in India.
Iqbal and Zeenat Habib as well as their children, Ashaz and Fareeza Habib, were all killed in January.
