Ziyah Karmali: Where there’s a wheel there’s a way

In Maputo, Mozambique, a typical family is forced to survive on less than $2 a day. It is our desire as Canadians to continually strive to share our country’s wealth.

Before losing his leg to cancer, Amir Jamal was an active participant in the World Partnership Walk.

After spending 23 years in a wheelchair, Amir is still as determined to make a difference. His story is extremely inspiring and one that indeed touches my heart.
