When he won the opportunity from the Aga Khan Foundation to return to Africa, Al Kanji was not sure he wanted to go to all the bother of a long trip.
But Kanji decided to go on the trip to Kenya to see some of the global poverty-fighting projects funded by the foundation through the World Partnership Walk, which will be held again Sunday in Stanley Park.
It turns out the decision was a good one.
“I’m very glad I did it,” said Kanji, 50, a chartered accountant.
