But after a 24-hour journey around the world, Sweetie — a three-year-old mixed-breed dog — and her seven new puppies won’t have to deal with cruel treatment anymore.
That’s because Naz Sayani, a part-time McMaster University teacher, flew the eight dogs home herself. An exhausted Sayani arrived at Pearson airport on Saturday night with three cages of excited-looking dogs in tow.
