His Highness Prince Aga Khan Council for Ottawa has been selected as the winner of the United Way Ottawa 2011 Community Builder of the Year “GIVE” Award for outstanding contribution to the community through the various programs the community has supported. From organizing the annual Mayor’s Breakfast and the yearly Ramadan Food Drive, to establishing the Ottawa CIVIC program. The Ismaili community is true ambassadors for the spirit of voluntary service. President Zaina Sovani accepted the award at the United Way Community Builders Award Gala on May 19th with great pride on behalf of the volunteers.
