Yasin Bhanji, Class of 2011, came to the College for its rigorous education and strength in economics and the biological sciences in particular. He found the extraordinary academic experience he was looking for—and much more.
The programs and information offered by the University’s Career Advising and Planning Services (CAPS) have been beneficial for Yasin. An aspiring doctor, he had entered the College with plans to attend medical school after graduation.

My research experience at the City of Hope National Medical Center was truly a ten-week immersion in the marvels of modern cancer research. The City of Hope is a nationally-renowned medical center and one of only a handful of National Cancer Institute designated “Comprehensive Cancer Centers.” In addition, the City of Hope is ranked by US News and World Report as one of the nation’s best hospitals in cancer and urology.
