Danial Asaria third grader from Franklin Elementary School, Santa Monica won the second place in 2010 National K12 Championships chess tournament held in Lake Buena Vista, Florida from Dec 09-12. His other notable achievements include first place in 2010 US Open Category class D. He is also four time winner of Academic Chess tournament Los Angeles.
