The Office of the U.S. Foreign Disaster Assistance (OFDA) at the U.S. Agency for International Development granted Aga Khan Foundation U.S.A. (AKF USA) $5.2 million for AKDN’s multi-agency response to the Pakistan floods. AKF USA is contributing $1 million to secure this level of funding in an agreement signed by Chief Executive Officer, Mirza Jahani (right), pictured with Mark Ward (left), head of OFDA, at the Foundation’s offices in Washington DC on October 26, 2010.
