29th November 2010: Given the unfortunate ill health suffered by our legendary Abida Parveen over the weekend, we wish and pray for her swift recovery, and look forward to her continuing to delight millions across the world long into the future.
With their planned set of four special releases in support of the Pakistan Flood Relief efforts of Focus Humanitarian Assistance (FOCUS) — an affiliate of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN), Abida Parveen & Taufiq Karmali recently became Superstars “for Flood Relief.
“Mawlaa Ke Naam (Ik Khat Likhenge Ham)” is their second musical contribution in this series, and we hope that its release today touches the hearts of all of Abida Parveen’s fans at this difficult time.
