Speaking at a press conference, Prince Aga Khan Shia Imami Ismaili Council for UAE member for communications and outreach Shamsa Rashid, said, “The award honours architects who design creative, sustainable and socially conscious infrastructure that have positive impact on communities, not just tall and iconic buildings.” The projects selected by an independent master jury for the 11th edition are currently being technically reviewed by a select group of architects, urban planners and engineers. The reviews will be submitted to the jury and then the award winner will be announced based on it.
