Museum of Islamic Art in Cairo ReopensThe Museum of Islamic Art in Cairo reopened to the public on September 30th after undergoing an eight-year restoration and renovation of the 1903 neo-Mamluk facility and display spaces. With more than 100,000 artifacts representing Muslim cultures from the 7th Century up to the Ottoman era, the museum oversees one of the largest collections of Islamic Art in the world.
