  1. Shattered Lives 2nd edition portrays life style in Uganda in 1950/60s and early 70s and through Idi Amin’s deadline to remove the Asians. The book explains the hardship people/families had to endure whilst dealing with the 90 days deadline. The standing outside immigration offices for days and worries of what next…? I can categorically say, it was the most feared moment especially if you had families and no entry to any country in world. It was the most unimaginable suffering, they were crazy days and thankful to some leaders of international countries who helped take refugees, I know, I was one of those in the queue for days, they were troubled moments. Time has passed, the new generation will have no real idea of what their parents experiences were but, I’m sure they have some idea, this book gives detailed account of events.
