An Academic Study of the Factors that Influenced Asian Relocation After the Expulsion of 1972 – by Samira Lakhani

Samira Lakhani is a 4th year student at The University of Western Ontario in Canada. She is Majoring in Business Management and Organizational Studies with a Minor in Anthropology. One of her Anthropology courses on Refugees and the Displaced: An Anthropological Approach to Forced Migration focused on refugees throughout history. Since Samira’s personal history has been influenced by the expulsion of the Indians by Idi Amin in Uganda, this topic is of great interest to her. She decided then to write a paper titled “An Academic Study of the Factors that Influenced Asian Relocation After the Expulsion of 1972”.
