ATHENS, GREECE–(Marketwire – July 18, 2010) – Sequel to her recognition as the recipient of 2010 Goddess Artemis Award in Athens on Wednesday, July 7th, by the Euro-American Women’s Council (EAWC) and the government of Greece, for her exceptional dedication towards advocating cross-cultural dialogue and humanitarian development of women across the world. Ms. Almas Jiwani, President and CEO of Frontier Canada Inc., and the President of the United Nations Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM Canada)-part of UN Women, was inducted into the Women’s Hall of Fame at the birthplace of the Goddess Artemis, on the sacred island of Delos.
