Almas Jiwani, a noted Canadian entrepreneur, President and CEO of Frontier Canada Inc., and the President of the Canadian National Committee of the United Nations Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM Canada), was recognized today for her continuous and exceptional work in eliciting awareness of equal rights for women and encouraging the empowerment of women. This morning, Ms. Jiwani was one of 6 distinguished honorees bestowed with the “Goddess Artemis Award”, in Athens, Greece, at the Euro-American Women’s Council’s (EAWC) lavish red carpet ceremony recognizing her endeavors to promote cross-cultural dialogue and humanitarian development of women across the world.
