Brief Intro of Midwest Business Alliance (MBA)
In 1999 a few Ismaili Muslim business owners of Illinois and Wisconsin came together to form a trade association namely Midwest Business Alliance. Majority of its founding members were from fast food restaurant and convenient store business. In a short span 11 years, MBA has become a key association for business owners from different type of businesses in Midwestern United States.
The Mission of the trade alliance is to:
Bring business people on a common platform in order to:
- Cash in on bulk buying and negotiating power.
- Encourage and support new business initiatives.
- Facilitate new business startups and diversification.
To achieve its mission, MBA is always out in the field to foster unity among the business owners and keeps encouraging their participation in the trade association activities.
MBA continually explores the marketplace for reliable distribution houses and service providers for its members that are spread over Midwest region of United States.
MBA also encourages new entrepreneurs in their business initiatives by providing them guidance on statutory and licensing requirements for different trade.
On the same token, MBA facilitate members in their business diversification initiatives by holding business Expos and Seminars.
On regular basis, MBA holds educational seminars and workshops for its members to assist them to operate their business professionally and efficiently.
MBA actively participates in community out-reach programs, standalone or in conjunction with other local community entities.
One of the resourceful tools for MBA is their monthly Newsletter that keeps updating the members on latest business trends and issues, on beneficial deals, and on business opportunities that may be available in the marketplace for them to explore.
MBA is affiliated with the National Alliance of Trade Associations (NATA) whose current membership strength is over 4500 businesses in USA.
