Thousands of people walked together to fight global poverty Sunday at the 26th annual World Partnership Walk at Prince’s Island Park.
About 3,000 people walked five kilometres and helped to raise $900,000.
All of the money raised goes to fund projects that help fight hunger and poverty in developing nations. Projects focus on health education and social development.
