The Aga Khan Hospital in Mombasa has obtained approval to train medical interns from government medical training institutions.
The hospital is the first private health institution to be accorded the honour by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board, according to Aga Khan Health Services Board chairman Moyez Alibhai.

“This is a great honour for the hospital as it shows that our efforts towards the provision of high quality heath care have been recognised,” Mr Alibhai said.
