Shabnum Budhwani brings ten years of experience with not-for-profit organizations to the Ontario College of Teachers. She is currently employed as Manager of Programs and Services at Skills for Change. A graduate of the Leaders for Change Program from the Maytree Foundation, she specializes in counselling for immigrants and refugees. Ms. Budhwani serves on the York Board of Community Services and facilitates self-help workshops at the North York Women’s Centre. A former member of the United Way Speakers Bureau, Ms. Budhwani is passionate about integrating internationally trained individuals into the Canadian labour market and about issues of access, equity and diversity.
