Coastweek — Following the highly successful “A Walk For Life” on Sunday, November 29, 2009 , organized by H.H. The Aga Khan Council for Mombasa and extremely well supported by the Mombasa Community at large, it was time to give back to the community.
A total of K. Shs 3,460,883.00 was raised and the Aga Khan Council Mombasa have now made the following donations from the collection:
Breast Cancer Awareness Support Group (BCASG) – K. Shs 1,142,090.00
PACK – K. Shs 519,132.00
Coast Hospice ( Coast General Hospital ) – K. Shs 519,132.00
Remaining funds will be disbursed for health related assistance by HH Aga Khan Mombasa Council.
