The Chief Executive Officer, Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi reports to the Vice President, Health Services. He/she develops strategies to ensure the quality, relevance, impact and accessibility of the clinical and educational programmes of the University Hospital. The CEO also assumes overall responsibility for the financial strength of the University Hospital.
Ms Asmita Gillani, CEO, AKUH,N, came to AKUH, Nairobi from York Central Hospital in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada, where she served as Chief Operating Officer for more than seven years and as Acting CEO for six months.
