The Director of Legal Affairs and Special Projects is responsible to oversee the University’s legal matters nationally and internationally and advise accordingly. The mandate includes reviewing and/or preparing documents, agreements, legal opinions and legislation analyses as required. The Director is also responsible to review, from a legal standpoint, AKU’s institutional policies and procedures as required by relevant departments, ensure company law compliance for all entities associated with AKU wherever situated, and carry out special projects as may be directed by the University President.
