Canada: Karim Rajwani appointed to Advisory Council on National Security

Prime Minister Stephen Harper today announced the appointment of four new members to the Advisory Council on National Security (ACNS). The new members are Douglas D. Baldwin, Norbert Manger, Karen Oldfield and Karim Rajwani.

Mr. Rajwani is currently RBC’s Global Head of Anti-Money Laundering and is responsible for leading RBC’s Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism and “Know Your Customer” initiatives globally. Prior to this position, Mr. Rajwani played the lead role in developing RBC’s operational risk management and capital methodologies. In addition to his 14 years of risk management experience, he has worked for various Chartered Accounting and Management Consulting firms.
