This lady is about 95…. she lives just outside Karimabad in the beautiful Hunza valley of north Pakistan. She belongs to the Ismaili sect of Islam as you can see by her head covering – she wears a small embroidered cap and the women do not have to cover their heads with a shawl if don’t wish to. Their leader is the Aga Khan who has funded many projects in the area. Apparently the people of this valley can live to a very old age (100+) because of their extremely healthy diet and lifestyle, which includes apricots and yoghurt.
