KARACHI, May 12 (PPI): To promote soccer at the grass-root level, Aga Khan University (AKU) Sports and Rehabilitation Centre is starting a Soccer Academy for girls and boys of 6 years age and above. Coaching will be conducted three days a week – Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday – from 4:0pm to 6:0pm starting Saturday, 16 May 2009 at the AKU Football Ground.
Certified professional football coach Qamar Ali and other coaches will train the youngsters. Manager AKU Sports Centre, Riaz Akbar announced that participants interested to join the AKU Soccer Academy are advised to contact the AKU Sports Centre Reception Phone No:486-1660, 486-1661 between 12:30pm to 8:30pm for further details.

yes but fof some people soccer is for passion and in karachi there is a lot of talent i beg football federation (P.f.f) to please search champions, take trials

as i am a girl not many people want to train girls as they say they are a waste of time so this is a great oppurtunity for girls to show their talents! i bet lots of girls can really show people what they are made up! and i too have talent to show people that i can play soccer!

Am Samuel and from Africa,Ghana to be precise,Am 14 years of age and been playing football since i was 6 six years of age,I have been playing our local coast team.I am a good striker and a right sided forward winger and can be good on the defensive right side winger as well.Am a good player and wish to join your academy together with my brother who is 16 and a good left side winger.i wish you give us a place in your well know club to render our skills and tactics..Thanks for making out time to read this piece of information.
