The World Partnership Walk is Canada’s largest annual event dedicated to increasing awareness and funds to fight global poverty. For 24 years, Canadians have been participating in the Walk and have improved the lives and livelihoods of thousands of people in Asia and Africa by raising more than $45 Million. This year the World Partnership Walk in Calgary will take place on Sunday, June 14 at Prince’s Island Park.
The Walk, an initiative of Aga Khan Foundation Canada, is a meaningful way for you to be part of the solution to global poverty. 100% of funds raised go directly to poverty alleviating programs, including health, education, rural development and supporting community-based organizations. Funds raised also leverage additional support from large donors like the Canadian International Development
Agency (CIDA).
Join us with your friends, colleagues and neighbors on Thursday, May 14 at Olympic Plaza and hear how you can get involved as we countdown to the 25th Edition of World Partnership Walk!
