CGA-Canada Announces 2008 CGA Fellowship Recipients
VANCOUVER, Feb. 5 /CNW Telbec/ – The Certified General Accountants Association of Canada (CGA-Canada) is pleased to announce it has granted 19 CGA Fellowship Awards for 2008. The FCGA designation is the highest honour granted by CGA-Canada and recognizes CGAs who provide exemplary service to the Association, the profession or the public, or achieve distinction through a variety of means.

Nazir Nenshi, FCGA
Director, Assessment, CGA-Canada
Burnaby, British Columbia
Nazir Nenshi is the Director, Assessment at The Certified General Accountants Association of Canada, where, he is responsible for providing the technical expertise, direction and oversight of the assessment development and reporting functions for the CGA Education, Certification and CPD programs.
Professionally, Nazir has contributed significantly to the not-for-profit sector. Among his numerous professional accomplishments, he has worked with the Aga Khan Development Network where he mentored and motivated an army of over 3, 000 volunteers, community members, and donors helping them embrace the values of serving and volunteerism. He continues to provide leadership within the Ismaili Muslim community and is involved in planning and execution of projects that impacts the community at large across Canada and internationally. CGA since 1984.
