Last Sunday had the CTV Street Team FREEZING in the pouring rain…but if anyone knows how to party in the BC showers…it’s the community of Vancouver! Before the Ismaili walk for women began there was a group warm-up. And seriously…how many other cities that you know of, exercise with umbrellas?? Now that is dedication!
Over 1,000 people showed up for this year’s walk and with such an impressive turn out on a not so great day, donations exceeded 200 thousand dollars!

Another fun event for the Street Team. Sure it gave us the sniffles, but that’s only because we didn’t want to leave before the music stopped. We were kicking, spinning, hopping and grooving as we struck down, and that’s when the organizers told us the music would continue until everyone was out of the park…
