AKU to help strengthen Birth certificate systems in Karachi

KARACHI: The Aga Khan University (AKU) and the City District Government Karachi (CDGK) will collaborate towards strengthening the birth registration systems in the city.

This was announced by the AKU here on Friday. An inaugural ceremony would be held on August 30 at AKU with City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal as chief guest. AKU’s Dr Sarah Saleem, Executive District Officer Health Karachi Dr A.D. Sajnani, AKU’s Dr Omrana Pasha, National Institute of Health’s Dr Thomas Mampilly and AKU Dean of Medical College Prof. Dr Mohammad Khurshid will speak.
