Wow! Mubarakhi to Dr. Gillani on having been asked to speak at this international conference. If I’m not mistaken, This is the same Dr. Gillani that founded and continues to lead the PYAR Foundation.
The AKDN Ethical Framework (http://www.iis.ac.uk/view_article.asp?ContentID=101094) states:
“Service of God is not only worship, but also service to humanity, and abiding by the duty of trust towards the rest of creation. Righteousness, says the Quran, is not only fulfilling one’s religious obligations.”
Dr. Gillani has certainly internalized the above excerpt from the AKDN ethical framework and is acting on it through his foundation. Looking forward to hearing more about him in the months and years to come!

A personal testimony,
I had the good fortune to stay at the pristine and immaculate home of Dr. Noor during my last visit to Huntsville, Alabama.
Dr. Noor is an ICON of Universal Peace in the Islamic World as he demonstrated a profound level of knowledge of global goodness and wisdom of universal truth in his way and art of living.
