Hi Shamir,
Heartiest congratulations on your succesful showing of the documentary film “An Islamic Conscience: The Aga Khan and the Ismailis” on Capitol Hill in Washington DC, the seat of the most powerful branch of the US Government, the US Congress.
It is perhaps worth noting that in the US system of Democracy the executive power is held by the President whereas the legislative power(the branch that holds the pursestrings among other things) is held by the US Congress.
In a Westminster-style democracy, such as in the UK and Canada, the Prime Minister holds both executive and legislative power, making him/her, on a one-for-one basis, more powerful than the US President.
Therefore, I think that succeeding in showing your film in the institution that houses the most powerful branch of the US Government, the US Congress, is a singularly important achievement.
