Women who survived breast cancer advocate early detection

HYDERABAD: ‘Cancer can be prevented. If detected early, it can be cured’ was the message reinforced by women who survived breast cancer at the Cancer Awareness Walk on Sunday. The walk was organised by the Apollo Cancer Institute in association with the Cure Foundation on the eve of the World Cancer Day on February 4.

Women in large numbers from Deloitte, Accenture, Dr. Reddy’s Labs, Roshini, FLO, Make a Wish Foundation, Astha, Aga Khan Health Services, WIN, COWE and other organisations participated in the walk
