  1. Yet another example of promotion of pluralism, tolerance, realization of social conscience of society, elimination of poverty and restoration of cultural heritage of a local population. A magnificent example of multitude of achievements in a singular project, the vastness of vision and the use of intellect are all encompassed in this interview. Any Muslim who can read , watch and comprehend should have no doubt that this is a practical demonstration of the Quranic Surahs related to the pluralistic nature of Ummah and humanity. Subhan Allah.

  3. I believe the Aga Khan’s use of tithe monies to support the mission of the restoration of architectural structures and the regeneration of Islamic heritage is extremely important as it helps to remind the Islamic people of their art, their heritage and their traditions. Without traditions, we have no history. Without heritage, we have no people. Without art, we have no language. I am not Islamic, but I envision a true Islamic Nation to consist of a people; a people of nurturing and building, not of war and terrorism.
