The Aga Khan Foundation is sponsoring an essay and story writing competition for students in grades six through 12. The topic for students in grades six to eight is to write about how hope and opportunity enable people in need to bring about peace and prosperity in their lives and the lives of those around them.

The two topics for students in grades 9 to 12 are to show how the foundation helps underprivileged people act in ways to improve their lives or show how the foundation uses institutional, management or financial structures to ensure program activities are sustainable.
