BIG 92.7 FM celebrates Sports Day with ‘Chak De’ girl

True to what the Station’s motto stands for, BIG 92.7 FM, India’s No.1 FM Station, currently operational in 31 cities, have once again touched lives in a truly `life banao’ initiative! BIG 92.7 FM, along with hockey team of the Shah Rukh Khan starrer `Chak De’ hosted a day filled with fun & games for the special kids of the Bombay Institution of Deaf & Mute to mark National Sports Day. The event was hosted by none other than Breakfast jock Archana Jani and the kids truly had a rollicking time.

The kids indulged themselves in a lot of games like lemon & spoon race, balancing the book, three legged race etc and it was extremely heartening to see them enjoying themselves and fight for the competition.

The Hockey team of `Chak De’ encouraged and cheered the kids all the way and even participated in some of the games with the kids of the school. The winners walked away with lots of goodies that were distributed by the RJ Archana Jani & the hockey team of `Chak De’.

Bombay Institution of Deaf & Mute is one of the many schools that undergo School Health Education Programme (SHEP) by the Aga Khan Health Service India and is a functionary of the Aga Khan Development Network. The primary focus of the organization is towards the under-privileged population and it works in partnership with the government and other health providers.

Speaking on the occasion, Arjun Singgh Baran, Mumbai Station Head, BIG 92.7 FM, ” We are extremely delighted to be hosting such an event and this initiative i8s clearly a re-iteration of what we as a Station stand for. BIG 92.7 FM is constantly working towards positively impacting lives of people by way of not only entertaining them but by also informing them with a cause. We are glad to be supporting such a cause and it has been a wonderful experience”
