KARACHI: Researchers from the Aga Khan University (AKU) have found that considerable gaps exist in the community’s knowledge about Epilepsy, which is why Epileptics, people who suffer from this disease, go through considerable stigmatization in the society.
M. Shafiq and his colleagues from the AKU’s Class of 2006 conducted research to assess knowledge and attitude regarding Epilepsy in an adult population of a Karachi slum area.
