RE/MAX AROUND ATLANTA ANNOUNCES I-REP TEAM

Investment Real Estate Professionals Team joins REMAX Around Atlanta

[ClickPress, Fri Apr 20 2007] RE/MAX Around Atlanta is pleased to announce that the Investment Real Estate Professionals Team (I-REP) has joined the Duluth office. This unique team of six successful real estate professionals of Indian descent sells both commercial and residential properties throughout Atlanta and the metro areas.
IREP is comprised of REALTORS® Farida Lalani, Anwar Ghaswala, Salim Lokhandwalla, Reshma Adtani, Hussein Jiwani and Karim Kanji. Shehnaz Ghaswala is the team’s listing and closing coordinator. The team members’ grandfathers or great-grandfathers are all originally from India.

This group represents a wide range of experience and work,” said Anwar Ghaswala, a REALTOR® who formed the group. “We are all million dollar producers who have joined hands to support each other and offer networking opportunities for business professionals.”

When working with business leaders of Indian descent, Ghaswala said it’s important to understand each other’s language and culture, and the I-REP team was founded on these principles. Team members speak more than six languages each, including English, Gujrati, Urdu, Katchi and Marathi.

“We all love and respect everyone, for their different cultures, religion and faith,” Ghaswala said. “I think understanding this is crucial in the business world, and the IREP Team is based on this premise.”

Team members believe in giving back to the community in a variety of ways, including assisting with language translations and organizing the Aga Khan Foundation’s Partnership Walk, which is a global walk which raises money and awareness for sustainability of communities in developing countries. All I-REP team members are Million Dollar Club members, and Ghaswala received the RE/MAX Around Atlanta Phoenix Award this year.
