With Imam’s grace and blessings, in 1962, I was the first prize winner of an essay competition on Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) organized by the Ismailia Provincial Library of Kisumu, Kenya. I have developed an interest in writing from my youth and have contributed many articles to various institutional periodicals, newsletters etc.
The essay competition and my being the winner prompted me to compile a booklet of the winning essays and again, with Imam’s grace and blessings, the booklet was published by then Ismailia Association for Tanzania in 1967.
