CBC Listen: Calgary student playwright Alysha Mohamed on her award-winning play, ‘My Hands Were Made For This’

A play about finding love in war-torn Syria picked up eight awards at the Alberta High School Drama Festival earlier this month. Alysha Mohamed is a grade-12 student at Foundations for the Future Charter Academy here in Calgary. She wrote, starred-in and co-directed “My Hands Were Made For This,” the winning work. Alysha joined host Doug Dirks in studio.

    Pls pass on my heartiest congratulations on winning several awards.
    Being a Theatre goer watching plays and attempting to build stories around immigrant seniors, I would love to get in touch with her or perhaps students who are in filming etc.
